Owners Richard & Nona take care of you like family. From the dessert meet and greet of other guests to the homemade breakfast to the midnight goodies! You cannot match the value of this property no matter which way you slice it. We needed to stay in for two nights for the Wine Walk event in December 2014. We began our stay at a nearby expensive hotel - unhappy with our selection - we called The Vic Rose in the middle of the night to rescue us, luckily we were able to get the Emperor Room for our second nights stay and never looked back! Now we look forward to a long and fabulous relationship with this inn, as we want to come back and visit more of what has to offer, just because they are here. Centrally located on Main Street walking distance to pier, downtown, restaurants, stores, etc. The love and care of this landmark and historic old church building can be experienced from the inside out from the floor to ceiling stained glass, towering ceilings, religious artifacts, vintage collectibles (games), antiques and a gallery of historic photos to explore. If you sit and relax you can imagine how the choir must have sounded back in time. If we are lucky maybe Nona & Richard will allow us to give a live concert at The Vic Rose soon! Love you guys!

The building was built in 1888 and was once a gothic style church. Now, its a converted bed and breakfast! Awesome touches everything that make it work a stop by just to check it out! So interesting. I love off the beaten path places, different, and unique, filled with charm and this place was definatly all of that! Loved meeting the other guest. Sat at the table just talking with them for well over an hour because we met some of the nicest people on our trip. And let me tell you about the breakfast. Nona, the inn keeper, made bread pudding french toast with carmel drizzle! It was outstanding! I dont normally eat breakfast and I ate every bite! I wanted more! I'll stay again when I'm back in !
